The POWER That Makes Us ONE

Wesley's Renovation Project

The building renovation project for Wesley United Methodist Church- Kosciusko, is nearing its completion.  The church sanctuary has undergone the most dramatic transformation which includes the chancel area, the stage, the pews, ceiling and side lighting, HVAC upgrades, window treatments, addition of a sound/video room, and new furnishings for the stage.  The lobby area has also been upgraded and now provides a more beautiful and socially friendly area for members and friends to assemble while awaiting admittance into the sanctuary.

The church fellowship area also underwent extensive upgrades which includes new lighting, new furnishings, and the addition of a large flat screen television which connects church attendees to services within the sanctuary.  The completion of the fellowship hall was made possible through a donation from an anonymous donor.

Another area impacted by the renovation included the addition of new men's and women's restrooms which comply with the requirements of the Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA).

While most of the renovation project targetted interior church needs, the church planners were able to broaden the project to include new exterior doors, and the purchase of adjourning property for future ministries.

It's been a true "Glory Sighting."

Our sincere thanks to all of you who contributed to the renovation by contributing your time, your talent, and your financial support.

On June 8, 2016, Wesley United Methodist Church received the Vital Church Award!

Wesley received this award for being the fastest growing small church within the past year with over 30 souls being saved and becoming members of our congregation.  We witnessed over 70 youth giving their lives to Christ a very special home going celebration in July 2015 and a movement of the Holy Ghost like never before under the pastoralship of our Pastor, Clinton Gipson.
